| PAKT get allotment at Eden |

Following on from their highly successful Garden Project at Northlands Court, Carrick borough council has kindly agreed to Woodburn and Sunnylands PAKT Group having their own allotment at Eden. This will enable the groups After Schools Club children to continue with their fun filled environmental projects where they learn about gardening and the benefits of fresh food. The Club members are now busy collecting gardening tools and seeds and quite a few of them are thinking about the tasty food they will get.( I think they may have forgotten about the digging bit that comes first )
PAKT manager Jeannie Mahood and the PAKT kids would like to say a big thank you to Stephen Daye from Carrickfergus Borough Council and to Billy Ashe from Carrickfergus community Forum for assisting in the process.
