TACT wildlife centre visit Woodburn and Sunnylands PAKT Fri 19 March 2010
Woodburn and Sunnylands PAKT had a great family day when TACT wildlife centre visited .The Children got to meet the wild animals that live around them and learn about their habitat . TACT brought a fox ,hedgehog ,barn owl ,a ferret and a lion head rabbit to meet the Children . All the animals involved had been rescued by TACT wildlife centre. The Children were able to meet the animals face to face and asked lots of questions of Debbie ,who works with TACT . The animals were as keen to meet the children as they were to meet them ,although a few of the mothers and fathers were a bit unsure about the hedgehog , which turned out to be not quite as spiky as it looked .

YMCA would like to say a big thank you to Surestart and NHIE for making the family day possible and for the families that brought their children along . It was really great for the children to learn about wildlife and the environment .
