Staying awake was the theme of the evening but for many it caught up with them in the end at the PAKT YMCA Glenfield, when they recently held a 24 hour stay awake for the kids to raise funds for the summer scheme.
17 kids took part in total they rased over £600 for clubs annual summer scheme.
Throughout the night the kids were involved in many activities to keep them awake, they had a ten pin bowling competition were Owen was the winner of the competition by one point and he received an Easter egg for his prize.
The kids had six DVD's to watch and the internet and game consoles were on all night, but the most exciting event of the night was a 2am forest walk with all the kids going out into the dead of night to go for a walk in the spooky forest - this again to try and keep them awake.
PAKT YMCA would like to say "a big thank you to all the kis that took part and hpefully they will not have had any nightmares".
