Drop in Centre
A facility for young people who would like somewhere warm and
dry to spend their evenings. Its main purpose is to provide a
positive alternative to walking the streets of Carrickfergus and
all that so often entails
TenSing, creative arts project
A creative arts project run throughout the YMCA, TenSing is
all about getting involved in music, dance, drama, behind the
scenes and band. Taking part and having fun.
Training
Offers young people the opportunity to develop their
leadership ability from simple personal development to accredited
leadership training. The aim of this is to develop young people
who are able to engage in local voluntary work to a high standard
while developing their skills.

Personal development
All the rest of the work falls into this category. The young
people from drop in are encouraged to get involved in activities
that will enthuse, discuss, participate and help them learn about
themselves and others. These change throughout the year and are
bespoke.
